Mission is always in transition. It is a movement that will continue to have many polarities and centers of influence. This centers of missional influences have shifted from Jerusalem to Damascus to Antioch to Asia minor to North Africa …that center continues to shift.

Today many agree that the center of mission is shifting to the south. Why, how and when do those mission shifts take place is the question we wrestle with in this series of videos. Here is part one;

Leadstar Language Institute (LLI) is launched to equip all people with key skills to confidently communicate in English. When we say all people we are saying that people at all levels of English proficiency are welcome to take on this lessons and gain the confidence and the competence of spoken and written English.

Leadstar College of Management and Leadership graduated 1200 students. This graduation was Leadstar’s historic first graduation to since Leadstar was established three years ago in 2012.

These graduates came from both faculties of Leadstar College. In these two faculties there were multiple academic programs; those programs were, Undergraduate programs in the business and leadership faculty were Leadership and Management. Graduate program in this faculty was Masters of Business Administration.

The second fastest growing faculty was Faculty of Theology and World Mission.  Under this faculty there were three programs, those programs were, Masters of Christian Leadership, Masters of World Mission and Bachelor of Theology programs.

Both of this faculties and all of these programs produced outstanding and capable graduates. It is our sincere hope that these esteemed graduates with lead the way in their nations and their communities transformation. Further more it is our hope that they will have key role in the future development and advancement of Leadstar’s work within the nation of Ethiopia.

There were a number of participants who came from the United States, Europe and all over the nation of Ethiopia. At the end this graduation ceremony Leadstar’s delegation from the USA were invited to meet with the President of Ethiopia at the national palace.
